EcoForest is in the middle of the hydrological watershed area of the Panama Canal, this is why it is very important to conserve its existing forest around. We as well work hand in hand with the Ecological Police to take actions against hunters.

EcoForest, besides planting teak, is planting local native species as well to upgrade both the plantation and the natural corridor. Every year we produce and plant more than 5000 native species that either produce wood or flowering trees for insects as well as fruit bearing trees. We also participate in different activities all over Panama helping and consulting about protecting forests, reforesting and the importance of reforestation.

EcoForest is hosting two mountain bike events per year. We do so to allow other people to use our property so they can see what is being done by private companies to better the world by reforesting degraded land that is a priority for the hydrological importance of the Panama Canal. Besides this, it is well known that physical activity improves both physiological and psychological well-being, by offering an environment like Eco Forests plantations these behaviors get stimulated.
